Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has prevailed upon Suna East MP Junet Mohammed to show respect when addressing President William Ruto.
The outspoken lawyer was responding to a statement by the Azimio secretary general on Twitter regarding Wednesday's planned consultative meeting at Kamukunji grounds, Nairobi.
"Address H.E Ruto using his appropriate title. Show some respect...please," Abdullahi said.

In his address to the President, Junet referred to him by his surname saying he would still have done little to nothing to stop them had they chosen to hold protests at Kamukunji.
"Whereas we've planned no demos, it is important to remind Ruto that even if that was the case, he still would have done nothing about it," Junet said.
The MP said they are at liberty to exercise their democratic freedom without being gagged by the government of the day.
"He cannot stop any demos in Kenya. We can't have a president who thinks democracy ends with his/her election."
Junet's statement came moments after the police service assured the Azimio brigade that they will have sufficient security during their meeting on Wednesday.
Deputy Inspector General Noor Gabow said police will be deployed to the rallies scheduled for Wednesday and Monday next week at Jacaranda Grounds in respect to the organisers' constitutional right to picket, demonstrate, hold peaceful demonstrations and exercise freedom of speech.
"However, any breach of peace shall be dealt with in accordance with the law," Gabow said.
During an Azimio presser on Monday, Raila clarified that contrary to insinuations by the government, the political rallies will not be demos.
"This regime is trying to paint a horror movie picture of this event. The maandamano they're talking about is theirs, not ours.
"The Kamukunji event on Wednesday is a public consultative forum. It is not a call to public protest. It is not maandamano," Raila said.
