Malindi gets 1000 scholarships from European Business University

EBU has over 48 Professors and 11,000 students globally with 55% from Kenya.

Malindi Member of Parliament Amina Mnyazi has received a major boost in Education after she got 1000 fully funded scholarships from the European Business University of Luxembourg (EBU).

Beneficiaries will be required to pay Sh3,000 registration fee only.

In a Press Release, Mnyazi said she was happy to officially announce a partnership between her constituency and the EBU that is aimed at providing free tertiary (College University ) education to 1000 Malindi youth.

"The European Business University of Luxembourg shall offer certificates, degrees, and postgraduate degrees. Courses targeted are in the fields of Business leadership, IT, and the English Language," she said.

The EBU has over 48 Professors and over 11,000 students globally with 55 per cent coming from Kenya alone including Government officials and elected Members of parliament.

The University has been endorsed by the Ministry of education Kenya.

Mnyazi urged the students to apply so as to gain meaningful skills that can help them get jobs in companies or even self-employment.

"Women and People with disability are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants should visit the office of the MP for registration before December 10,"  she said.

The MP said her office was committed to and dedicated to promoting the education of the Malindi constituency for the benefit of its people.

European Business University president James Muli said they are welcoming partnerships with the county governments in Kenya aimed at providing free tertiary (college and University) education to 500 county youth.

He said interested applicants can apply through http://connect.ebulux.lu  for registration before different deadline dates as per the courses.

For the Bachelor of Business Administration program  (BBA) which is a four years course the deadline is January 3, 2023, while Masters of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MSDA) a two-year course the deadline is also January 3.

Muli said the University Certificate impact program,  for winter term two 2023 enrolment deadline is January 3, 2023, and classes begin on January 16, 2023, to May 8, 2023.

The Courses are available he said include Business Management, Financial Accounting, Business ethics, Women and Leadership, Macro Economics, Entrepreneurship and Communication, Global Economy, Project Management, and Plutus Haskell.

On the English Language courses, the EBU offers Basic English A2 and intermediate English B1.

He said the University also has Certificate in Education courses which include contemporary global challenges in education policy and Leadership, Curriculum Design, and instructional Decision making.

The University, he said, has program section courses among them Advanced Managerial accounting, advanced Financial Accounting, Business Strategy Governance, and Ethics.
