Ruto condoles with victims of South Korea Halloween Crush

President William Ruto on Sunday condoled with South Korean victims of the Halloween tragic Crush.

The Saturday night stampede at the South Korean capital, Seoul claimed the lives of at least 151 people, according to reports by officials.

At least 82 were injured in the incident in the Itaewon nightlife area which was holding its first unmasked Halloween celebrations since Covid.

In a statement, Ruto said Kenya will put the families of the victims in prayers.

 

"Kenya mourns with the people of South Korea following the tragic crush that claimed many lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those affected," Ruto said.
