Cabinet secretary nominee for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime affairs Salim Mvurya has placed his net worth at Sh120 million.

The former Kwale Governor who appeared before the National Assembly Committee on appointments said this is in form of houses, land and vehicles.

 

"I am worth Sh120 million. I own land, houses and bank account and vehicles also," Mvurya told the committee.

He added that he in 2013 he was worth Sh10 million.

He was the second to appear for vetting on Saturday after Simon Chelugui.

Mvurya served as Kwale Governor from 2013 to 2022.
