Education CS designate Ezekiel Machogu has said that he will deal with cartels at the Ministry of Education once confirmed by parliament.

According to the former MP, he understands how the government operates and if there are any cartels, they should start packing.

He said that he would not allow is the loss of money meant for education in the country, adding that he will ensure there is proper monitoring.

"I am a bottom up person I understand the government system. I know the way it operates and in case there are cartels in that ministry I think its time they start packing and go elsewhere," Machogu said.

"With Machogu at the helm of that ministry if there is anything I'll not allow is existence of cartels. I like value for money, shilling by shilling, and we will do proper monitoring to ensure we don't lose any money at all."

He noted that the Kenya Kwanza government will first employ not less than 30,000 teachers with the goal of having at least 116,000 new teachers employed.

" I'm going to move county per county to ensure that what the government has said will be implemented," Machogu added.
