Gachagua leaves for first foreign trip as Deputy President

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has left the country for his first foreign trip.

The DP left the country for Kigali, Rwanda on Thursday morning.

Gachagua will grace the Youth Connect Africa Summit.

He was accompanied by a host of legislators including Bomet Woman representative Linet Chepkorir alias Toto.

This is also Toto's first trip outside the country.

Kiambu senator Karungo Wathang'wa was also part of the delegation.

The 2022 Africa young generation of innovators, champions and leaders summit is in Kigali and will begin October 13 through to October 15.

The platform gives youth the chance to meet their peers, exchange knowledge and come up with new ways of collaborating.

The event is organised in partnership with the Rwandan Ministry of Youth and Culture.

About 10,000 people from across the world are expected to attend the fifth YouthConnekt Africa summit.
