Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has continued to defend President William Ruto’s Cabinet nominees saying they will deliver in their respective dockets.
He has singled out Public Service and Gender nominee Aisha Jumwa and her Trade counterpart Moses Kuria as among those who will be the best performing if approved by MPs.
"Aisha Jumwa and Moses Kuria were cleared by agencies like DCI, KRA and EACC before their nomination and I predict that the docket the two hold will be the best performing,” Cherargei said on Thursday.
He also argued that their integrity should not be questioned if Parliament approves them saying they would have been cleared by the required institution.

Their remarks followed criticism by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna who said Ruto settled on individuals of questionable integrity as his Cabinet nominees.
"In my view, when President Ruto nominates such people, it indicates he is willing to do the work himself and perhaps that’s why he visited Parliament yesterday,” he said.
Ruto's 22-member Cabinet nominees are counting on Kenya Kwanza's grip of the National Assembly to be cleared to take up their ministerial roles amid lingering integrity questions on some of them.

"They must know that there are a lot of questions about some of them and we will be asking those questions relentlessly. The nominees who stand flagged for extra scrutiny know themselves," Opiyo Wandayi, the Opposition nominee for Majority leader said.
Speaker Moses Wetang'ula is on Thursday at 2.30pm set to rule on which side of the House has majority representation as both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza have laid claim to the status.
