Raila Odinga led Azimio filed their submissions on Friday morning to the Supreme Court.

They have responded to the petitions that they were mentioned in, which were filed on Monday.

Through preliminary objections, they have opposed petitions filed by gospel artist Reuben Kigame and former Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.

The petitions were filed on Monday.

The coalition is supporting all the other petitions except the two.

The Chama Cha Kazi party leader had filed a petition seeking the dismissal of a petition that challenges the election of William Ruto as the fifth President.

Kuria cites the violence at the Bomas of Kenya and came moments after Raila filed his petition at the Supreme Court within the Milimani Law Courts.

According to Kuria, Raila used his chief agent Saitabao Ole Kanchory and others to cause violence at the Bomas of Kenya Tallying Centre, hence hindering the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati from executing his duty.

“The actions of Raila and Azimio through their agents amounted to breach of national security as the same caused fear and panic not only amongst the Petitioners and all the persons present at Bomas but also amongst Kenyans across the globe who were keenly following the process on television,” said Kuria in his affidavit.
