Azimio submits truck-full of petition documents at Milimani

The team is expected to present their evidence on alleged poll malpractice

Azimio legal team has arrived at the Milimani Law Courts to file a petition challenging DP William Ruto's victory.

The team arrived at Milimani Law Courts with documents packed in a white truck. The team has 39 boxes with exhibits.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Siaya Governor-elect James Orengo, Nairobi Senator-elect Edwin Sifuna, Nairobi Woman rep-elect Esther Passaris, among the politicians are at the lobby.

Raila Odinga's legal team had earlier already filed an electronic copy of the presidential petition challenging President-Elect William Ruto's victory.

Makueni senator-elect Dan Maanzo, one of the lawyers in the legal team, confirmed that the case had officially been filed electronically on Monday morning at the Supreme Court.

"We have already filed the case online as required, our officers doing the paperwork will be at Milimani law courts anytime," said Maanzo told the Star.

"The papers will be brought to Milimani for stamping to show the time they were received."
