President-elect William Ruto on Saturday met members of parliament elected on Independent tickets, at his Karen residence.
Ruto took to twitter to reveal the development, saying that they had committed to work with Kenya Kwanza.
"Implementing the Bottom-Up Economic agenda will require a bi-partisan approach in legislation. It is because of this that we are grateful to MPs elected on Independent tickets who have committed to work with Kenya Kwanza," he said.
The MP's included Joshua Mbithi (Masinga), Njoroge Elijah (Gatundu North), Caroline Ngelechei (Elgeyo Markwet) and Rahim Dawood (Imenti North).
Others included, Timothy Kipchumba (Markwet West), Ntutu Kitilai (Narok South), and Monica Muthoni (Lamu Woman Rep).
On Friday, two MPs-elect decamped to Ruto's camp which saw Azimio suffer another blow.
The two, who joined Kenya Kwanza from UPIA and NAP-K were received by Ruto and Garissa Township MP Aden Duale.
