Nairobi Governor-elect Johnson Sakaja on Thursday met with his former opponent in the race for City top job Polycarp Igathe.
Sakaja took to Twitter to reveal their meeting.
"Wonderful conversation and laughs with my brother Polycarp Igathe this afternoon. Amesema ni #Naitunavyoitaka #SiasaSafi," he tweeted.

The outgoing Senator clinched the county boss position after polling 699,392 votes.
Igathe who was Sakaja's close opponent, contested on a Jubilee ticket and came in second place after he garnered 573,518 votes.
On Wednesday, Sakaja said he will work with all leaders regardless of their affiliation to better the city.
"The campaign period has concluded and I am now the governor for Nairobi. My work is to serve all and build a team that serves our people. We made commitments and we must deliver on them," Sakaja said.
