President Uhuru Kenyatta will on Saturday meet all the newly elected Azimio leaders from 10 am.

It’s not clear what the agenda of the meeting is and if the meeting will be at State House or KICC.

But sources say the president wants to review his coalition’s performance and agree on the way forward.

The president is also expected to discuss the presidential results which are yet to be fully tabulated and announced by IEBC.

This comes hours after Raila Odinga's press secretary Dennis Onsarigo said Azimio la Umoja will hold an inaugural conference for its elected members later in the day.

Onsarigo said the meeting will take place at KICC from 10 am.

The attendees have been requested to dress in Azimio's blue colours.

Azimio has bagged 147 MP seats, seven Senate seats and 10 governor seats, according to the forms verified so far.

Three days after the polls closed, 99% of results from polling stations have been submitted electronically.

Only a small number have been verified and announced by the Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission.

The wait has heightened anxiety across the country as Kenyans wait eagerly to find out the winner of the presidential race.

Provisional results showed Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga and DP William Ruto neck-and-neck in the race.

According to the constitution, the IEBC has until August 15 to declare the results.
