Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has retained his seat defeating his close opponent Francis Mureithi.
The constituency attracted five candidates from ODM, UDA and Independent candidates.
Owino garnered 53 ,195 Mureithi who was vying on a UDA ticket had 26,699.
From the 234 polling stations in Embakasi East constituency, Owino defeated his four other competitors.
The three are Francis Mureithi, Michael Ogada, Joash Omwenga and Waruinge Stephen.
Ogada who is also a former MCA scored votes and was vying on an independent ticket.
Owino has camped at the East African school of aviation which is the constituency tallying center from Tuesday evening.
