President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived at Kisumu Oruba Railways Bridge in Muhoroni.
He's currently on a chopper headed to Kisumu Railways station where hundreds of residents are waiting to usher him in.
Already various leaders are at the station. They include Francis Atwoli.
Leaders who have arrived at the venue include host Governor Anyang Nyongo.
MPs Gwassi John Mbadi, Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo Kasipul Kabondo MP Ongo'ndo Were, Nyakach Aduma Owuor, Kisumu East Shakeel Shabbir, Seme James Nyikal, Lilian Gogo Rangwe, Ndhiwa MP Martin Owino Homabay Senator Moses Kajwang, Ruth Odinga amongst other leaders.
ODM nominees for different positions are also present.
The president is expected to launch various development projects in the City.
According to sources, Kenyatta whose term comes to an end next week is expected to board the Nairobi-Kisumu train at Muhoroni before launching the new railway station in Kisumu City.
