Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula now says President Uhuru Kenyatta's protection in retirement is dependent on his behaviour ahead of the August 9 polls.
Wetangula claimed that Uhuru has been holding unlawful night meetings whose agenda is to allegedly manipulate the coming polls.
He warned that if Uhuru continues with what he termed as "illegal activities" he risks losing the key privileges they promised him.
"Mr President, you only have 10 days to go and it is most unfortunate you are now engaged in unlawful night meetings to subvert elections.
"We want to tell you you enjoy immunity of law, you enjoy immunity from prosecution. We have said we will respect and protect you in your retirement, it is only subject to your correct behaviour," he added.
Wetangula was speaking on Friday during a campaign rally in Nandi in which Deputy President William Ruto was in attendance.
He urged Uhuru to stop the night meetings, adding that nothing can be done at this point to salvage Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga's defeat.
"In the remaining days, no matter what you do, 'Bwana Kitendawili' will retire, he is going home like you are going home," he said.
It is during the same rally that the DP censured his boss telling him to leave him alone and focus on marketing his candidate, Raila.
Ruto chided Uhuru saying he has been issuing threats directed at their camp, something he said will not scare them.
"I want to ask Mr President, please, you should not be the source of threats in Kenya. Stop threatening Kenyans, your work is making sure all Kenyans are united," Ruto said, adding that Uhuru should prepare to go home.
"Stop saying we will know you are the president, we are the ones who elected you to the presidency. Stop threatening us, We cannot be threatened."
