Ruto courts Makueni, Kwale as Raila campaigns in Turkana

On Tuesday, Ruto took his campaign to Kitui and Machakos counties.

• Ruto's itinerary will begin at Sultan Hamud in Kilome Constituency, before heading to Makindu Town in Kibwezi West Constituency.

• Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga will, on the other hand, take his campaign to Turkana county.

Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto will take his campaigns to Makueni, Taita-Taveta and Kwale counties on Wednesday.

His itinerary will start at Sultan Hamud in Kilome constituency, before heading to Makindu Town in Kibwezi West constituency.

In the afternoon, he will head to Kyumani Market in Masongaleni, Kibwezi East before proceeding to Voi town.

The trail will then visit Taveta in Taveta and end at Ukunda in Msambweni constituency.

On Tuesday, Ruto took his campaigns to Kitui and Machakos counties.

His running mate Rigathi Gachagua attended the presidential running mate debate on Tuesday night. 

He was facing off with Azimio deputy presidential candidate Martha Karua in the second part of the presidential debate that lasted 90 minutes.

Azimio presidential Raila Odinga candidate will, on the other hand, take his campaigns to Turkana county.

Raila took his campaign to Nakuru county on Tuesday to drum up support for his bid.

This part of the efforts to woo voters in these regions to support their presidential bids.

The last day of campaigning will be August 6 and the election will be held on August 9.
