The team was to leave on Tuesday morning but their Visas were delayed.

The two leading presidential contenders Raila Odinga (Azimio) and William Ruto (UDA) have nominated their representatives who will head to Greece to inspect the printing of ballot papers ahead of the August polls.

Early this month, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati announced that Presidential candidates were free to witness the printing of ballot papers in Greece.

Speaking shortly after receiving the first batch of ballot papers, Chebukati said the commission is committed to delivering a credible election.

“We have arranged for Presidential candidates to travel to Greece to witness the printing of ballot papers between July 15-20, 2022. The Commission is transparent in this process and we have nothing to hide,” he said.
