Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah now claims that a woman was sent to bribe him with Sh200 million in order to drop his presidential bid.

According to Wajackoyah, part of the deal was that he also campaigns against another presidential candidate.

"They wanted me to campaign against another presidential candidate, they look at me as a spoiler, they think I don't have the audacity of winning this election," he said on Wednesday.

Speaking on NTV, Wajackoyah said the woman whose name he did not reveal approached him, but he turned down the offer, sending her away. 

"Time will tell who the lady was... I chased her away," he said.

The presidential candidate further stated that he has a huge following of young people who believe in him and his dream to become the president of Kenya, and he would have let them down

"For me to take Sh200 million to kill the dreams of these young people who believe in me, come on." 

During his campaigns, Wajackoyah has promised that his government will among other things introduce a 24-hour economy, and that Kenyans will only work four days a week.

The presidential candidate has also spoken on snake farming which he said is a multibillion business venture, whose potential should be fully exploited.

“We are aware how snake farming has the capacity to fetch billions to the country’s revenue basket. The snakes have a lot of medical products that can help benefit the country if well invested in."

Wajackoya has also insisted that his government, if elected will grow bhang for export.
