The two were placed in custody, processed, and arraigned.

NPS has assured the public that security in the country has been scaled up through different policing operations.

The arrest comes a day after the police in Nakuru arrested 128 suspects in the ongoing crackdown on the notorious Confirmed criminal gang.

Rift Valley Regional Commissioner Maalim Mohamed said various leaders recorded statements over their alleged link to the criminal outfit.

So far, the Commissioner said 108 cases have been linked to the gangs.

The gang is suspected to have carried out robberies with violence and killings in the area.

The group has been known for using crude weapons including machetes, clubs, swords and metal rods to execute their actions.

Maalim warned that anyone found with the said weapons will be dealt with, as part of the gangs.
