Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is currently meeting party officials, elected leaders and aspirants ahead of his 'big announcement."
The former vice president is expected to announce his return to Raila Odinga's Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition.
Kalonzo is expected to address the media alongside KANU Chairman Gideon Moi after the meeting.
"We are still waiting for brother Gideon. He is on the way," Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo had last month ditched the Azimio fold and announced his presidential bid.
This was after Raila picked Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua as his running mate, a slot he had been eyeing.
However, Kalonzo is set to rejoin the Coalition after what insiders say are intense negotiations spearheaded by Gideon.
After the press briefing, Kalonzo will move to Mukuru Kwa Njenga where he will address a joint rally with Raila, Karua, among other top Coalition leaders and members.
