Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has declared he will defend President Uhuru Kenyatta against attacks by his estranged deputy, William Ruto, and his Kenya Kwanza brigade.

Kalonzo said it is immoral for Ruto to attack the President yet he is enjoying the trappings of power courtesy of their shared ticket.

Kalonzo said Kenyatta has been dragged through mud to the extent that the minds of youths in Central Kenya have been poisoned, inciting them against their own.

The Oka principal said the massive investments including infrastructure that Kenyatta has made in central Kenya will make other regions envious, yet the beneficiaries don’t appreciate it.

The Wiper boss said he will traverse the country to sell the Azimio - One Kenya agenda and remind Kenyans what Uhuru has achieved against great obstacles set up by his deputy.

Kalonzo made the remarks on Friday when he attended a  meeting of Jubilee delegates from six wards of Gatanga, , Murang'a county.

They were hosted by Peter Kagwanja, a Jubilee senator aspirant, and Kimani Wa Mumbi MP aspirant for Gatanga, at the Blue Post hotel in Thika.

The Wiper leader welcomed the decision by the Supreme Court on BBI, he said the ruling paves way for a future review of the Constitution.

Kalonzo faulted the Kenya Kwanza team for unfounded celebrations over BBI's 'death', adding that the decision was a win for both teams.

He pointed to the protection of the President from being sued while in office and further giving direction on the process of amendment in the future.

"Nobody can afford to say BBI is dead. If anything, the court's findings on basic structure have made our route much clearer. Soon after the election, we will revisit and make a very quick job of it," he said.

Elsewhere, Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege told off the Kenya Kwanza over remarks about public funds that were reportedly used on the BBI amendment bill.

In a statement, she asked Kenya Kwanza to let Kenyans understand what transpired with the Arror and Kimwarer dam scandal.

"I heard them demanding that Raila and Uhuru should make an apology to Kenyans concerning the funds wasted on BBI. I want to assure them that this will not happen unless they tell us the real story of Kimwarer dam. Kenyans need an apology too,” Chege tweeted.

Kenya Kwanza on Friday said they will move a motion in Parliament compelling the Auditor General to investigate the public funds used on BBI.

In a press release statement, the MPs urged the Auditor General to carry out a forensic audit on the BBI Bill, saying taxpayers' money was used in its campaigns and planning. They called that unconstitutional.

"It is important to note the public funds used in the unconstitutional process were not appropriated by the National Assembly but were rather an illegal diversion of public funds," the statement read.
