I will revive Kenya's economy, Raila says in Kakamega rally

ODM Party leader Raila Odinga has said he will fight to revive Kenya's economy when elected.

Speaking in Kakamega on Saturday, Raila said he has fought many battles and it was now time to fight for Kenya's economy.

"I have fought for the dictatorship in this country. I fought for the new Constitution and it's time to fight for our economy and to help our youths as well,"Raila said.

Raila was accompanied by Narc Kenya's Martha Karua, Opiyo Wandayi, Junet Mohamed among other dignitaries.

Karua said Mount Kenya is ready for Raila Odinga's presidency.

"If you need change we must have a change in our leadership," she said.

Her sentiments were echoed by former MP Peter Kenneth at Khwisero constituency stadium.

"The other alliance will ruin our economy. They have done more harm already," he Kenneth said.

He urged Kenyans to vote for leaders who can be entrusted by Kenyan resources and developmental plans.

Junet dismissed the DP Ruto claims that Azimio la Umoja has ganged against him to cripple him politically.

"You can't blame people when you make wrong choices. Mudavadi and Wetangula can't form a force," he said.
