"All staff members are hereby required to give the acting Managing Director full support and cooperation for efficient and effective delivery of services," Maingi said.

He said Maina's appointment takes effect immediately.

Maingi said the appointment followed a special meeting by the Board of Directors on Friday, March 25, 2022.

Maina will hold the position in an acting capacity until a substantive MD is appointed through a competitive process, Maingi affirmed.

"The Board takes this opportunity to thank Dr Naim Bilal for his services at the cooperation.

"On behalf of the Board, join me in welcoming the acting Managing Director Samuel Maina for the appointment as we wish him the very best in his new role," Maingi said.
