Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said ANC counterpart Musalia Mudavadi is emotional and lacks judgement.

“Mudavadi is my friend but he becomes very emotional and lacks judgment. He wasn’t supposed to say what he said but it was his constitutional right,” Kalonzo told Musyi FM on Friday morning.

The former vice president expressed his disapproval of the ANC leader's remarks on Tuesday.

Musalia said Kenya Kwanza Alliance will ensure that Kenyans are not led by a puppet president.

“We don’t want a remote-controlled leader,” he said during Deputy President William Ruto's unveiling as UDA flagbearer.

On whether President Uhuru Kenyatta will be part of the next government, Kalonzo said the Head of State is a neutral party in the three-legged stool formed in the name of Azimio-One Kenya Alliance.

"There has been a lot of mistrust since the days of NASA and the coalition needed a neutral leader."

Kalonzo's remarks come barely a week after he explained that the three-legged stool includes Azimio, OKA and Jubilee.

He has insisted that he joined the Coalition for the benefit of his people.

"There is nothing in it for me. My conscience is clear, I have given my directions," he said.

The Wiper leader also stated that the DP should have resigned after his endorsement as the presidential nominee at the Kasarani gymnasium on Tuesday.
