Gubernatorial aspirant with bottomless war chests raises questions about his former employment.

A former official at a county assembly known for seducing married women is having a rough time selling his candidature.

Who's doing what to whom, where, why and how.

The plot by some leaders from a former province to delegitimise an influential MP has flopped. Sources whisper to Corridors that for months the leaders launched a multi-pronged war front against the MP for 'being too close' to their man who is is running for a big office in Kenya. However, the big man stuck with his friend, the  MP, and told off his tribesmen to leave his friend alone. At one point, the boss is said to have complained bitterly that some of his allies wanted him to look like a tribal kingpin who only hangs around his tribesmen. Most of these 'jealous' leaders have since been dropped from a national cause. Some are said to be begging the MP to forgive them for waging a dirty war against him. Why? Party nominations are first approaching and it's believed the MP has the boss's ear.

A plot by a youthful gubernatorial aspirant from Western Kenya to scuttle a rival’s event backfired miserably last weekend. Corridors understands the man, a lawmaker, spent millions of shillings in bribing youths and women to shun the event where his rival launched his bid for the seat. The legislator hired goons, gave them loads of cash and placed them at strategic points to dish out Sh500 each to every person who was heading to the event. However, moles intimated to Corridors that after pocketing the cash, the residents still thronged the event. The lawmaker is now angry with his hirelings. His handlers say he spent more than Sh5 million.
