Raila, Ruto continue with Coast and Eastern region tours

Ruto has been in the Eastern region since Saturday.

ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto will continue with their tours of the Coast and Eastern regions on Monday.

Raila who began his tour of the Coast on Saturday will take his Azimio la Umoja campaigns to Kwale county, where he will engage residents of Matuga and Kizingo.

The former PM is seeking to lock the Cost region which is regarded as one of his strongholds, as he makes his fifth stab at the presidency.

Raila began his tour of the region with Kilifi on Saturday and Mombasa on Sunday. The four-day tour ends on Tuesday with a visit to Taita Taveta county.

DP Ruto will also proceed with his tour of Meru county, which started on Sunday.

Ruto has been in the region since Saturday.

On Monday, he will visit Kemu, North Imenti and Tigania West and East constituencies.

He has been selling his bottom-up agenda to area residents alongside his Kenya Kwanza coalition partners, Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya).
