Wiper MPs have condemned ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi for pledging an alliance with deputy president William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Patrick Makau (Mavoko), Stephen Mule (Matungulu) and Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu said the ANC chief had not only betrayed his fellow One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals but also Kenyans at large.

“I have severally said that Mudavadi is not a serious champ, he isn’t a team player. You threatened Kenyans saying that today there will be an earthquake. I’m asking you, is an earthquake going to board a wheelbarrow?” Makau stated.

They spoke when they officially launched the construction of Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Matungulu, Machakos County on Sunday.

The project according to area MP Mule was funded by National Government Constituency Development Fund to a tune of Sh25 million.

“Is a wheelbarrow earthquake? Musalia, you have betrayed us. You have betrayed Kenyans,” Makau added.

The legislators told Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to stick to OKA saying he is now automatically its party leader and presidential flagbearer.

“I tell Kalonzo Musyoka, stick to OKA. You will be our presidential flagbearer. The only leader who isn’t corrupt is Kalonzo. He is as white as cotton and God-fearing. He will become the fifth president of Kenya,” Makau added.

Mule said as Wiper MPs and OKA diehards they were shocked by Mudavadi’s move at Bomas of Kenya on Sunday.

“We are shocked by what we have witnessed today being referred to as an earthquake. Is earthquake bringing us wheelbarrows to OKA?” Mule queried.

He added, “Musalia Mudavadi, I respect you. If it’s a bad omen that has befallen you that you invited this person, please look for Bukusu elders to dispel the bad omen from you because Kenyans will never trust you. And if you have betrayed Kalonzo and Moi, I want to tell you that your political days in Kenya have ended.”

Mule said they had earlier foreseen the ANC leader joining the DP's camp ahead of the August 9, polls.

“As OKA, we will remain strong and united. We saw it coming, we now know that the OKA leader and flagbearer is Kalonzo. We will traverse the entire nation to ensure that Kalonzo becomes the fifth President on August 9,” Mule said.

Kavindu said as Wiper leaders they will meet to chart a political way forward following Mudavadi’s move.
