Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja has applauded ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi for playing clean in his politics.

Speaking on Sunday during Mudavadi's presidential bid launch at Bomas of Kenya, Sakaja said his support for Mudavadi remains unwavering.

"He (Mudavadi) exemplifies what this country stands for. Honesty, integrity, trust, humility fearlessness. When you listen to Mudavadi you feel safe," Sakaja said.

"Mudavadi has shown me that politics is not enmity and that humility is not weakness. That is the leadership that this country needs badly."

Sakaja is running for Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
