Raila heads to Homa Bay as Ruto woos West Pokot

The former PM was on Thursday crowned a Kuria elder.

ODM leader Raila Odinga is set to visit Homa Bay county on Friday, to popularise his Azimio la Umoja Movement.

Raila who will be in Ndhiwa constituency will also visit Kabondo, where he will hold a series of meetings.

This follows his Thursday meeting in Kuria, Migori county where he held a rally at Kehancha stadium.

The former Prime Minister was also crowned a Kuria elder.

Deputy President William Ruto will on Friday take his campaign to West Pokot county.

In his schedule seen by the Star, the second in command will begin his tour of West Pokot at 9 am with an address to residents of Tapach centre.

He will then  make three other stops at Sigor Town, Kamula Centre and Makutano Town to seek support from area residents for his presidential bid.

On Thursday, the DP was in Machakos where he made over eight stops to address Kenyans in the county.
