Raila has been holding meetings at his Karen home.

ODM Secretary general, Edwin Sifuna said that he is pleased to see his boss healthy and in good spirits.

"Happy to have Party Leader @RailaOdinga back at Chungwa House after a long time and fit as a fiddle. God is great," Sifuna said.

Among the issues discussed in the meeting held at his Karen home were; ODM’s commitment to the spirit of the handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta and commitment to the Building Bridges Initiative and the Constitution of Kenya Amendment Bill.

The Orange party has been experiencing an infighting that split the party into two factions; one led by Senator James Orengo and Otiende Amollo, while the other was led by party chairman John Mbadi and Junet Mohamed.

This led to MP Otiende losing his position in parliament as Vice-chair of the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee.

The cracks within ODM saw top-ranking members of the party openly contradicting Raila and others daring him to a political duel.

Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya joined Orengo and his troops, warning the sharing of 70 new constituencies as proposed in BBI would divide the country.

Raila later met ODM deputy party leader, Oparanya, Orengo and Governor Charity Ngilu where they resolved what seemed to be the problem.
