Days are likely to be sunny while nights are expected to have clear skies throughout the forecast period in Nairobi, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Laikipia, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka Nithi, Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Isiolo counties.

Morning rains are likely to occur over a few places throughout the forecast period.

In Kajiado, Kitui, Makueni, Machakos and Taita Taveta counties, morning rains are likely to occur over at the beginning of the forecast period.

The weatherman said the regions are also likely to experience afternoon showers.

Last weekend, some residents of Manyatta in Ruai and Maryland in Mavoko were forced to seek temporary shelter on Sunday night after strong winds blew off their rooftops.

The winds swept across the area with rains starting at around 6pm. A transformer was crashed on a house. No one was harmed.
