A man charged with having 300 litres of chang'aa has been fined Sh100,000 or spend one year in jail after he pleaded guilty.

 Fredrick Kameru's car has also been forfeited to the state. Kibera senior resident magistrate Charles Mwaniki said on Friday the car was used to ferry the illicit brew.

"I order the car be forfeited to the state, the suspects pays a fine of Sh100,000 or serve one year in jail," the magistrate ruled.
