The Ministry of Health has warned politicians against flouting government protocols on Covid-19.
"Those who are holding these gatherings are going against the rule," CAS Rashid Aman said on Monday.
He added "...observe the procedures and the protocols. These people risk action being taken against them for flouting these regulations."
Many politicians have flouted the Covid-19 rules with most of them not adhering to social distancing.
Frequent gatherings of leaders at meetings and funerals has remained a great impediment to the containment of the fast-spreading respiratory virus.

Kenya on Monday recorded 102 new cases of Covid-19, raising the country's total to 35,205, Aman confirmed.
This was from a sample of 2,668 tested in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative tests to 477,145.
Aman confirmed that all were Kenyans except nine who were foreigners.
For the first time, the number of males and females testing positive was the same at 51 cases each.
Nairobi continues to lead in the daily positivity rate, recording 41 cases in the last 24 hours.
