A 31-year-old lady has been arrested for defrauding Kenyans.

Nuzrat Sharif was arrested on Friday over a fraud housing scheme. The scheme is meant to lure Kenyans to invest in unseen houses.

She did this through her company Dinm Evitaerc limited that had its offices in Parklands in Nairobi.

DCI director George Kinoti said the suspect was arrested in Nyali, Mombasa county.

Kinoti said Sharif lured her 52-year-old mother Nurjahan Mohamed to open various companies.

The companies are; Proop Tellub Ltd (Bullet Proop), Dinm Evitaerc Ltd (Creative Mind), Kehdok Saniwagra Igniwga (Agwingi Argawings Kodhek), Rkab Uba Nisay (Yasin Abubakr) and EOAH.

Kinoti asked Kenyans who had fell victims over the scam to make a formal report at Lang'ata DCI offices.

Kenyans aspiring to own their homes had trusted the scheme only to realise when it was too late that they had been tricked.
