Akothee will be performing in Watamu at the luxurious Seven Islands Resort’s Papa Remo beach on February 16.
The singer announced the show on Citizen TV, and has since taken to Twitter, Instagram and all her social media accounts, asking party lovers to come and witness the great party.
Revelers will part with Sh1,000 or Sh3,000 for VIP tickets to access the show, which will run overnight.
Resort owner Roberto Lenzi told Word Is he is excited to host the celebrated artiste in the party. "Something big is coming up at this resort," he said.
Lenzi said his aim is to bring celebrities to perform at the beach party so as to promote tourism in Watamu, which is a world-renowned tourism destination.
