Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has suspended two nurses at Dandora Health Centre after reports that a woman delivered outside the hospital for lack of a Sh20 registration fee.

Sonko has immediately launched independent investigations into the matter to ascertain the allegations.

“I want answers before close of business tomorrow. Human life must be respected,” Sonko said on Tuesday evening.
