Two university students arrested with narcotics

Two university students have been arrested after being found in possession of narcotics.

The two; Chris Odhiambo, 22, and Raymond Mwilo, 20, were nabbed at a bus stop in Nairobi.

According to the DCI, the two had put the narcotics tied on their backs using a black wrapper and cellotape.

The suspects are in police custody and will be arraigned in court on Monday.

This comes after police in Mombasa  arrested a prominent businessman with one kilogramme of heroin in his car.

Abdulmajid Timami was nabbed by DCI detectives with the narcotics valued at Sh1.5 million.

The drugs were concealed in his new Honda car and wrapped in polythene bags.
