Expect traffic disruption on Ngong Road from Monday - Kura

Kenya Urban Roads Authority has said that there will be traffic disruption along Ngong Road from next Monday until April 5.

Minor works are being carried out to improve the section.

Kura said China Centre and Prestige Plaza section will be affected by the operation as the authority seeks to improve the road network.

Road users have been urged to cooperate and use diversion lanes that will be provided.

Last month, Kura director general Silas Kinoti said roads under the Nairobi Regeneration Program will be completed by the end of July.

Kinoti spoke when he appeared before the Nairobi county assembly Transport committee.

He said the agency had divided the project into three slots of 32km, 25.5km and 22.8km road networks.
