Nairobi Education executive Janet Ouko has resigned.
During a press conference at City Hall on Monday, Janet said she felt it was time for her to pursue and focus on "other issues".
Ouko said she has had a good working relationship with Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
Her resignation is takes effect on January 31.
Ouko has served in the Education docket from the time Sonko came into office in 2017.
She survived the numerous reshuffles conducted by the county chief.
