An aide to a Cabinet Secretary is out on Sh300,000 bail after being charged with defiling his boss's teenage daughter.

Reuben Kiborek is accused of committing the crime at a five-star hotel in Nakuru county on Sunday night.

He appeared before Nakuru law courts senior resident magistrate Yvonne Khatambi and was charged with two counts of defilement and an alternative charge of committing an indecent act.

The accused denied all the charges.

The man was arrested on December 23 by the Flying Squad after attempting to flee, and detained at Bondeni police station.

The case will be mentioned on January 18.
