Politician Steve Mbogo has sued blogger Cyprian Nyakundi for publishing defamatory articles about him on social media.

The 2017 Starehe MP loser wants the court to bar the blogger from writing anything about him.

He is also seeking court orders compelling Nyakundi to delete

the articles he has already published.

Mbogo said the article claiming that he found his wife sleeping with their driver is defamatory and meant to tarnish his name.

He says the article has been shared widely and picked by other blogs.

"The article written by the defendant to the utter prejudice of the plaintiff whose reputation has been and continues to be immensely damaged."

"The same have been turned into objects of cyber bullying unless the orders herein are granted, at least in the interim to curtail further dissemination of the defamatory articles written by the respondents against the applicants," the politician cum businessman says in court papers.

Mbogo argues that there’s no justification for Nyakundi to publish defamatory article concerning him and his family.
