There was pomp and colour during the official launch of Thika Barbers' and Salonists' Association held at the Mama Ngina grounds in Thika town.
The association, which has 168 members, aims to help members grow, expand and remain competitive in an increasingly complex and evolving market, as well as expose them to business opportunities and resources.
Present were Kiambu woman representative Gathoni Wamuchomba,
Elgeyo Marakwet woman representative Jane Chebaibai, Thika MP Patrick Wainaina, Right@Home director Gladys Chania, and the association chairman and of
proprietor of Thika Hair Art Masters
Humphrey Njenga.
The launch was sponsored by various establishments, including
Black Chic, Sister Hair,
Mayahn, Amo la Mmoda Kenya, among others.
