Detectives arrest man charged with burglaries in Lang'ata

Detectives have arrested a man who has been terrorising residents of Lang'ata.

Leonard Munyaka Wambua alias Leon-a notorious is accused of being a housebreaker and burglar.
The suspect has been linked to numerous housebreakings and burglaries in Nairobi and Mombasa.

In a tweet on Sunday,

the DCI said he targets electronics, jewellery and mobile phones.

The DCI said he moved in the company of four other suspects, two men and two women.

Wambua is out on bail for other crimes in a matter pending before the Kibera Law Courts.

"His warrant of arrest was already in force after he breached his bail conditions. He will be taken to court on Monday and charged," the DCI tweeted.
