Police on Friday gunned down a man suspected have shot and killed a police officer.
The DCI said they received a tip-off and trailed him to his hideout in Githurai Kimbo.
"Detectives working on a tip-off, yesterday trailed an armed gangster who had killed a police officer and escaped
with his pistol," the DCI tweeted.
A pistol with nine bullets was recovered during the raid.
"He was put to sleep at his hideout in Githurai Kimbo when he defied an order to surrender," the
DCI said.
