Fresh from finishing second overall in the 2018 Guru Nanak Rally, Onkar Rai has now set his eyes on the next round of Chloride Exide-sponsored Hill Climb set for this weekend.
Rai, who won the first round of the sprint event earlier in the season, will drive his Skoda Fabia in the sprint races, which have also attracted machines varying from ordinary rally cars to buggies and motorcycles. The final round of the two-day event will take place at Malewa Bay situated on the Moi North Lake road—about 21km from the Delamare shops on Naivasha-Nairobi road.

In keeping with the spirit of excitement and competitiveness, the event will offer a diverse and exciting opportunities to capture what is now arguably the fastest and most popular motorsport action in the country. Malewa Bay, the event venue can easily be accessed via Delamere shops on the Naivasha-Nakuru road.
Top lady drivers like Linda Hughes, Syaana Jessop and Chantel Young are among the 50 entries received by the organisers of the final round of the 3km circuit with an altitude starting at 1900 to 2100 metres.
There will be seven different classes including bikes, quads, 4WDs, raids, classics, buggies and juniors. Hardeep Rahsi will be the clerk of the course for the third and final round of the sprint event. Cars will run at two minute intervals on the competitive heats while motorcycles will do one minute intervals on the same.
