The Ethics and Anti - Corruption is investigating some Baringo assembly MCA over alleged misconduct.

fracas that led to Silale Ward MCA Nelson Lotela hospitalized after being beaten by four KANU MCAs over disputed representation at the assembly service board.

"Some two EACC officials came to collect facts over the fights experienced on Thursday...MCAs were called one by one for interrogation," an official at the assembly told the Star on Saturday.
The four who allegedly attacked Lotela are Assembly Deputy Speaker Ameja Zelemoi (Churo-Amaya), Solomon Makal (Kolowa), Sam Lokales (Tirioko) and Maria Losile(Loyamorok).
County Police Commander Smallets Munyanzi said they had no information about the coming of the EACC team.
"Maybe they did their work independently but so far we only have an individual lady member from the assembly who reported to us to have been assaulted during the battles" Munyanzi said.

Friday, the court halted the disbandment of the assembly board.

Justice Monica Mbaru ruled that the board should continue serving pending inter-party hearing on December 5, 2018.
