Two KCPE candidates from Viriririni primary school in Kinango, Kwale have not showed up for KCPE examination.
Sports Cabinet Administrative Secretary Hassan Noor has demanded answers from responsible offices.
He visited the county to monitor the exam progress.
“I'm really saddened by this disappearance. The teachers are finding out exactly what happened,” Noor said.
The two boys were to sit exam

on Tuesday. Teachers hoped they would turn up on Wednesday but didn't.

The boys,

according to one teacher, attended classes well but never showed signs of the missing exam.

“They were present throughout the three terms up until the last minute,” he said.
County director of education Bridgit Wambua could not be reached for comment as his phone went unanswered.
Noor said one girl from Chirimani primary school in Matuga fell ill.
Noor was also present when another candidate gave birth at Voroni.
“At Waa, the girls registered major progress. Out of 116 candidates, 90 are girls,” he said.
