Kenya Power
has announced that there
will
be
power
interruptions in
parts of
Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Trans Nzoia and Kilifi on Friday.
The company says this is to allow for routine maintenance checks in the said areas.
Nairobi’s South C will be affected from 9 am to 5 pm. Other areas in the city include Five Star road, Bandari Estate, Elegant Estate, Oleshopara Road, Mfulu Road, Muhoho Road, KEWI and adjacent customers.
In Kiambu, there will be a shutdown from the same time in
Gacharage, Rumenye, Parts of Ndenderu and Kanjogu, Acme Factory and adjacent customers.
Areas of Kikuyu, Sigona, Muguga and KEFRI will also be affected.
Nakuru’s areas of South Lake will also be affected from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
They include
Nini Farm, Lanmona, Sawela Lodge, Longonot Horticulture, Simba Lodge, Gorge Farm, Vandenberg, Florensis and its adjacent customers.
Trans Nzoia’s Mois Bridge and Matunda will also be in darkness from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
In Kilifi affected areas include Ganga, Mere, Vihingoni, Matangani and adjacent areas.
