Police on Thursday rescued a
five-month-old
infant from an alleged child-trafficking
ring
in Lucky Summer Estate.
Two women,
Rahab Wanjiru and Mercy Mburu were also arrested.
One of the ladies is a director of a Children's Home in Mathare.
She is alleged to have trafficked the child in the pretense of foster care.
The DCI in a tweet confirmed the child is in safe custody.
The suspects will be arraigned on Friday.
