Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off in his first Champions League game for Juventus on Wednesday, the Portuguese forward shown a red card in the 29th minute.

Ronaldo, who won the Champions League four times with Real Madrid, was involved in an innocuous-looking clash in the area and 'shed tears' when German referee Felix Brych dismissed him.

The 33-year-old was dismissed following a clash with

Jeison Murillo in the penalty area.

The soccer star, who now faces possibility of a two-match ban, immediately broke into tears, throwing tantrums on the pitch.

The decision means he will miss the match against Manchester United on October 23, of which he was to line up against the Jose Mourinho side.
